From the moment that you meet Dr. Madison, you will be able to feel the passion she has for her patients and the power of chiropractic. Her mission is to help empower families through chiropractic care, by aligning their spines and improving the mind-body connection. After searching for years, chiropractic found her in a unique way.
In high school and undergrad she worked as a pharmacy technician, thinking pharmacy would be her end goal. During this time, her mother was suffering from chronic hip pain, visiting many different doctors, pain specialists, and therapists. She was sick of feeling medicated and started to feel her body’s natural function decline. She decided to get off all the medications and live with the pain. It was then that a chiropractor said the four words that changed her life- “Have you tried chiropractic?”. Dr. Madie’s mom received her first chiropractic adjustment and was, for the first time in four years, pain free. This was the inspiration that propelled Dr. Madison to develop a love for chiropractic.
She became passionate about prenatal care when her younger sister was in labor and her niece had turned into a position that was not optimal for birth. With the idea of a cesarean looming, Dr. Madison treated an acupuncture point on her sister. With in minutes, the baby turned and she was able to have the birth she had always wanted. From that moment on, Dr. Madison realized the power of acupuncture and the influence that it could have on pregnancy and birth.
Dr. Madison received her bachelors in science from the University of South Dakota in 2010, majoring in Biology and Chemistry. She received her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Overland Park in August 2014. She has postgraduate training through the ICPA (International Chiropractic Association of Pediatrics) to specialize in women’s health and pediatrics. She is proficient in acupuncture, completing 100 hours in Meridian Therapy.
She is passionate, caring, loving, and one of the most energetic people you will meet. She has a desire to help the entire family improve their lives. In her free time she loves to get active outside and spend time with her family of four. She has two beautiful children Hazel and Hendrix, who you will sometimes see at the office with her.
